A 2- hour driving trip to reach the charming Ouzoud waterfalls may seem kind of long. Once you are in Ouzoud, seeing the grinding mills is a must since they reflect its name. Ouzoud / Izid means the grains’ grinding process in Berber. However, the tools along with the manner were traditionally used in the place for decades.

Next to the waterfalls, the macaque monkey homes can be also visited which is something new to try. This is a famous spot in Ouzoud where many of Marrakesh’s main square’s monkeys are found here.
